Yes! Our client’s needs are our main priority. We love to work with our clients and their individual hair needs. Make sure to schedule an appointment for a free consultation, as we cannot have any walk-ins during this time.

We recommend all clients scheduling their appointments at the beginning of the week if they want an appointment on a weekday. 1 week in advance for Friday or Saturday. We highly recommend pre-booking appointments before leaving the salon if you see a specific service provider. Walk-ins are permitted if time is available.

Many of our treatments (such as our Keratins, Hair Botox, Blowout, and Single Process) can be pre-purchased before your appointment, for your convenience. However, some of our treatments (such as Haircuts, Double Process, Balayage) require an appointment to assess your specific needs and goals. You can always book your appointment online, but depending on your service, payment may need to be made in-center.

Hair Bar NYC understands that schedules can change, so we request a 24-hour notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a 25% charge of the scheduled service cost. No-show appointments will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service cost. No exceptions. This amount will be charged to the card on file.

Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. If we do not hear from you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, it is considered a “No Show,” and you will be charged the previously stated No Show Fee. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made.

If you find yourself running late for an appointment, please call the salon you have an appointment with and let us know so that they can inform your Stylist to see if it would affect any other clients scheduled that day. We will always do our best to accommodate you whenever possible.

A professional stylist who maintains your look and stays up to date with the latest techniques deserves your appreciation. Tipping for salon services is typically handled the same way you tip for restaurant service. Generally, we suggest 18-25% of the total price, depending on the quality of service that you feel you received. Also, please don’t forget to tip the shampooist.
